  • Parvorim is a newly settled suburb on the north bank of the river Mandovi.
  • The new project of the Goa Legislative Assembly is located in this suburb.
  • It was challenging to find a place in Panjim for a new branch.
  • Shreemad Vidyadhiraj Teerth Swamiji decided to build a new Shakha Math (Branch) at Parvorim.
  • The new Shakha Math aims to provide a social and cultural center for the people of Panaji and other GSB communities from Panaji to Dicholi.
  • The inauguration of the building took place on 18th November 2000 by Shreemad Vidyadhiraj Teerth Swamiji.
  • The building is located on the Panaji-Mumbai highway and adds splendor to the Math.
