History of Math
- The 5th Swamiji of the Math Tradition, Shree Anujeevottam Teerth Swamiji, constructed a Mutt at Dicholi to provide shelter and moral strength for the Saraswat families who migrated to preserve their culture and religion from Bardesh, Tisvadi, Sasashti, and settled at Bicholim.
- Shree Anujeevottam Teerth Swamiji took samadhi while camping at Dicholim in 1637 A.D., and there is a Vrindavan in Dicholi Math.
- The new temple of Shree Laxmi Narayan was constructed, and marble idols of the deities and the metal idol of Shree Ramdev were installed by the 20th Swamiji of the Mutt, Shree Indirakant Teerth, in 1905 A.D.
- Shreemad Vidyadhiraj Teeth Swamiji renovated the Vrindavan, performed Chaturmas in 1995, and constructed a compact Kalyan Mantap named “Shree Anujeevottam Teerth Kalyan Mantap,” which was inaugurated in 1996.
